MISSING CHILDREN

The Happy Endings program is a collaborative effort between the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Happy Schools to publicize the details of missing children believed to have been abducted and taken abroad*. Working closely with registered teachers and schools, the Happy Endings program seeks to tap a network of tens of thousands of English teachers working in language schools worldwide.

Happy Schools is pleased to offer a reward of USD $2500 to any registered teacher who provides information leading to the safe return of any missing child listed on our website. Please note: This reward is offered by Happy Schools. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) serves as a clearinghouse for the collection and dissemination of investigative leads and sightings of missing children to appropriate law-enforcement agencies and neither endorses nor assumes responsibility for this or any reward fund.

We can make a difference! Email a link to this page or the photos of children believed to be in your country to other teachers. Ask permission to post NCMEC posters in your school staffroom or at local expat hangouts in your area. These kids are out there somewhere. Working together we can do our part to bring about Happy Endings for as many of them as possible.

*It happens! In 2001 a non-custodial father who had fled the United States with his two children was arrested by the FBI teaching English in Brazil. Click here to read more.
