Programs
Happy Schools is pleased to work with partner organizations and its own registered teachers and schools on programs that seek to tap Happy Schools' tremendous potential to make a difference, in and out of the classroom.
The Happy Endings program is a collaborative effort between the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) and Happy Schools to publicize the details of missing children believed to have been abducted and taken abroad. Working closely with registered teachers and schools, the Happy Endings program seeks to tap a network of tens of thousands of English teachers working in language schools worldwide.
Fugitives have discovered that teaching English can be a great way to lay low and support themselves overseas. Happy Schools is pleased to work with law enforcement agencies and its own member teachers to publicize the details of wanted persons who may have fled overseas to avoid prosecution.
The world is slowly coming to grips with the realities of child sex tourism and finally doing something about it. It's time for the TESOL industry to do its part. Happy Schools works with the Future Group to raise awareness and educate teachers.
